For nearly 25 years, the K Building has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Farm Science Review, becoming one of the show’s most recognizable landmarks.  Now, as preparations begin for a new exhibit building, this iconic structure is being offered to one new owner through a sealed bid auction.

Before the 2026 Farm Science Review, the building will be professionally dismantled, carefully bundled into a complete building package and displayed at the show for public viewing.  Buyers will have the opportunity to inspect the materials, review the original building drawings, dimensions and specifications and submit their best sealed bid.  The winning bidder will receive the engineered steel frame, lumber package, steel roofing and siding, doors, windows, trim, cupola and the remaining building materials – everything needed to give this historic building a new life.  The original building drawings, including elevations and dimensions, are available to help you fully evaluate the opportunity before placing your bid.

This isn’t just the purchase of a building – it’s the opportunity to own a piece of Farm Science Review history.  Follow along as we release additional photos, building details, auction information and important dates leading up to the 2026 Farm Science Review.

One building.  One winning bid.  One new home.
