Foster Equipment Sales LLC has been in business since 1981 and services the agricultural community within a 60-mile radius of their Springfield, Ohio location. Lee Foster, owner of Foster Equipment Sales LLC, is proud to offer his customers Brock Grain Bins, Westfield Augers, Grain Dryers, Elevator Legs and K Buildings. In fact, Foster Equipment is one of the oldest K Building Dealers in the State of Ohio. After working for a period of time with Sweet Manufacturing, Lee met Dan Klausing the owner of K Buildings, and became a K Building Dealer in 1987. Since then Foster Equipment Sales LLC has grown as a family operation. Assisting in the day-to-day operations is Lee’s wife Dawn, along with their son Tyler and daughter Brittany. The Foster’s other son Ryan is in college pursuing other ambitions. Dawn’s responsibilities for the company include accounting while Brittany assists with the accounting and sales. Tyler’s focus is on the company’s technology. His expertise in computers has been very helpful in maintaining the computer systems and related technologies. Additionally, Tyler is also involved in building sales and installation.

The spring of 2009 brought on big changes to Foster Equipment Sales LLC as they erected a K Building on the family farm to house their growing business. Lee noted the building was much needed as they intend to use the new facility as a show place for K Buildings as well as dedicating part of it for their new motor sales and service division. While buildings, farm storage, drying and conveying are still the primary components of their operation, demand for motors has been growing and now Foster Equipment has the facilities to handle this segment of the operation very efficiently.

Lee has seen quite a few changes in business over the years but to him, it still remains a people business. Say what you do and do what you say. With that in mind Foster Equipment Sales LLC will continue to make their customers very happy well into the future.
